2026: The Year of the True Beginning
2026: The Year of the True Beginning
(How to Eliminate the Silent Danger)
Family, we are living in an age where everything is fast and urgent. Everyone wants instant results. But do you know what? We have more time than ever before.
Technology cooks our food, washes our clothes, and even cleans our cars. ChatGPT does our children’s homework. In reality, we are the laziest generation that has ever existed.
What we are really doing when we rush others is this: we want to get home quickly to sit in front of the television—thousands of hours wasted in front of a phone or a TV. Every time I go to a store or a water park, people are walking with a phone in their hand. The television screen has turned into a handheld machine. Brilliant minds—sleeping giants.
Today I want to talk to you about a silent enemy that has invaded our homes, our minds, and our families. It is not a visible army; it is a system of deception that shapes our culture and pulls us away from God. It tells us how to live and what to buy. The University of Hollywood and the system behind this institution.
Excessive television consumption negatively impacts health through sedentary behavior, increasing the risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. It is also linked to mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia; poor sleep quality due to blue light; and developmental and behavioral problems in children, including poor academic performance and increased aggression. Additionally, it reduces time for physical activity, reading, and social interaction, creating a cycle of isolation and unhealthy habits. The worst gift you can give a child is a phone.
If you truly want to be a holy nation, act like a holy nation. Let us examine our homes and take greater responsibility.
Television is doing nothing positive for your home or your life. Imagine for a moment Thomas Edison—men who changed the history of the world with light. He was a man who spent hours thinking, creating, failing, and trying again.
Now ask yourselves this:
What would have happened if this man had spent his days sitting in front of a television? Many cemeteries today are filled with men who never developed their ideas.
1. Hollywood Educates Our Families
Hollywood determines what we see, what we learn, and how we spend our money—and it is shaping our generations. It is not just entertainment; it is hidden education, value formation, and cultural discipleship. It has been used as a tool of the enemy to normalize sin before the world. What was once called sin is now called freedom; what once caused shame is now celebrated; what God abhors, the system promotes.
Hollywood has spent years killing people en masse, and today we practice it live—and we blame the government, we blame weapons. Our generation has already been contaminated.
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.” (Isaiah 5:20)
Hollywood is not just an industry; it is a well-structured system of this world that uses actors and actresses as instruments to enrich a few from the shadows. Men and women addicted to drugs and alcohol, filled with lust, fornication, adultery, and witchcraft—without true happiness. They sign dark contracts. Everything is designed to keep you bound and enslaved in front of a screen. Through its productions, the use of weapons, violence, alcohol, sex outside of marriage, adultery, and witchcraft is normalized. These are the “teachers” educating your subconscious and that of your children.
Studies show that daily media consumption in the U.S. is nearly 8 hours and 34 minutes, including television, smartphones, and the web:
-
Television and video: ~4 h 37 min
-
Apps / web: ~2 h 21 min
“If we used that time to study, we could complete a college degree in just 225 days.
Now imagine what God could do with that same time if we dedicated it as the apostle Paul did. We would change entire generations, whole nations, and the direction of many lives.”
2. Mental and Cognitive Impact
-
Our attention weakens
-
Reflection decreases
-
Memory fragments
-
Our morality becomes desensitized to violence and sin
“They have eyes, but they do not see…” (Psalm 115:5)
3. Spiritual Impact
Time in front of screens replaces prayer, Bible reading, and meditation on God.
-
Normalized sin: adultery, fornication, greed
-
Culture teaches us to live outside God’s plan
-
Every commandment is broken before our eyes, and the mind accepts it as normal
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
(Romans 12:2)
4. Emotional and Psychological Impact
-
Increased anxiety and depression
-
Constant comparison with others
-
Emotional numbness
5. Physical Impact
-
Sedentary lifestyle → obesity and disease
-
Blue light → sleep disorders, eye strain, headaches
6. Family and Social Impact
-
Children learn more from screens than from their parents
-
Family communication decreases
“And you shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Deuteronomy 6:7)
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:16)
7. The Word Calls Us to Wake Up
-
Meditate on the Word daily
-
Read the Bible every day (pray when rising and when going to bed)
-
You are a future member of royalty; you are a holy nation if you have believed in God
-
Do not walk in the path of sinners
-
Your life needs new habits; be firm and do not be led astray
-
A person who spends their life in front of a TV or phone has an impoverished mind, and their generation will be poor
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” (Matthew 26:41)
“Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)
“For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father.” (1 John 2:16)
8. Wake Up Today
The human mind has a great capacity to achieve great things, but it can also be shaped, distracted, and diverted. Great minds are asleep in front of a television or trapped in a phone. Future scientists, professionals, and leaders have been shut down by a screen.
“Thus says the Lord: Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the ancient paths.” (Jeremiah 6:16)
“Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16)
“Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14)
“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be sober and watchful in prayer.” (1 Peter 4:7)
“For the Lord Himself… with the trumpet of God, will descend from heaven.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
**Conclusion
(An Invitation to Return to the Ancient Path – Bringing Back the Benefits of 1930)**
-
More focused minds
Life was physically harder, but mentally calmer. Without constant screens, people read, spoke face to face, reflected, and rested earlier. -
Stronger family bonds
Families ate together, talked, prayed, and shared stories. Children learned from parents, elders, and the community—not from screens.
📖 Deuteronomy 6:6–7 -
Active and healthy entertainment
People sang, played instruments, played games, attended church and community events, and listened to the radio—which stimulated imagination rather than visual overstimulation. Families were slimmer than we are today. -
Greater attention span
Reading, church services, conferences, and meetings required patience and concentration, without constant stimulation. -
Healthier child development
Children played outdoors, had responsibilities, and were less exposed to sexualized content, violence, and advertising. Moral instruction came from the home and the church. -
Better sleep and physical health
Less artificial light meant better rest, less anxiety, less obesity, and fewer sleep disorders. -
Calmer flow of information
News arrived slowly through newspapers and radio, allowing reflection instead of panic and sensationalism. -
Stronger communities
Neighbors knew one another, churches were the center of social life, and community responsibility guided behavior.
